Pelvic Rotation measures the angular rotational range of the sacrum’s local vertical axis per second.
Pelvic Rotation is the average angular rotational range of the sacrum along its local vertical axis per second. The vertical axis is the axis that reaches from the head to the feet. This motion can also be described as the anterior to the posterior rotation of the pelvis along the transverse plane.
Each clockwise and counterclockwise rotation occurring within each second is recorded and then averaged.
