Battery life and charging

Charge the entire TYPE-R unit, which includes the port A battery inserted on the bottom of the unit, and the dock charger placed in the dock in port B (optional, use for +6 hrs or use), and all 5 motion sensors. Please use the supplied AC adapter directly in a wall outlet to charge your devices. A 3rd party USB charger or laptop might not have enough power to charge the devices properly.

Note: If the sensor charger emits a buzzing noise, the sensor may not be receiving enough power. It is important to make sure you utilize the A/C adaptor packaged with the TYPE-R.

Charging Status

• TYPE-R Port A: (S and L batteries)
• Charging: A red LED gauge will show on the bottom of the unit.
  • One red LED = 0 - 30%
  • Two red LEDs = 30% - 80%
  • Three red LEDs = 80% - 99%
• Finished charging:
  • The LED on the bottom of the unit will turn off. Pressing the right hardware key will show a green LED.
    
    
• TYPE-R Port B: (dock charger)
• Charging: A red LED will show next to the power button on the dock.
• Finished charging: A green LED will show next to the power button on the dock.
  
  
• Motion sensors
• Charging (0-20%): Non-blinking red LED
• Charging (20% - 100%): Non-blinking green LED
• Finished Charging: Blinking green LED
• Note: When the motion sensors are connected to the TYPE-R, their assigned location color will take precedent over their charging color.
